Get Involved

We need your support of Trees for Troops year-round! Through the generosity of people all over America, as well as Christmas tree farmers, FedEx Freight, sponsors and supporters, our Trees for Troops program has provided almost a quarter million free, real Christmas Trees to military families and troops since it started in 2005. Our mission is to provide Christmas SPIRIT to kids, families and the environment, and the Trees for Troops program does that. To get a sense of how this program has a positive impact, browse through some of the photos and stories we receive from families and soldiers who get a tree. 

Want to buy a tree and donate it? Click HERE to see a list of participating Trees for Troops Weekend tree farms and lots. December 6-8 you can buy a tree there and add it to the trees going to bases.

Visit one of the Participating
Locations during Trees for Troops Weekend, December 6-8, 2024 where you can buy a tree, write a personal message on a special tag, attach it to the tree and add that tree to the FedEx trailer on-site. Those donated trees will be picked up on and routed to various bases during two weeks of deliveries the last week of November and the first full week of December.

Donate

  • Make a tax-deductible contribution to the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation to help fund the Trees for Troops program.
  • Double your donation: some employers will match your charitable donations. Check with your company’s human resources department to see if your employer offers a matching program.
